Swim for Rob
The 5th Annual Swim in Support of the Robert Vasen Foundation

“Rain or shine” was the plan when the forecast predicted horrible weather for Saturday, July 16, 2011—the day of the fifth annual “Swim for Rob” event.   The rain came early but yielded just in time for swimmers to plunge into Lake Washington on their way to Beaux Arts Beach, where supporters cheered their arrival and a BBQ followed.  

A tradition which began four years ago from the hearts of Robert’s friends, A Swim for Rob now involves participants of all ages who come together to remember Robert and contribute to the Foundation’s programs.  Robert's legacy lives on, as together we extend a hand to young people in need in our community.  

Thank you to each swimmer and supporter for making A Swim for Rob such a meaningful event.
